• We had hoped for an average of 45 people per day, and were thrilled to have an average of 70 people per day visit our exhibit!
• We served 3100 people in just 44 days!
• We proved the desire and need for an educational children's facility in our community!

We are devoting 2005 to our fundraising as we strive to reach $125,000.

We are a 501(c)3 tax-deductible organization, so all donations will be acknowledged with a receipt for tax exempt purposes. All funds received will be used to establish this new organization and add to our existing exhibits.

Pictured here is the "Hands On! mountain," which will be the icon of our museum. This is inspired by the beautiful region of WNC and will entice "hands on" activities that encompass our awe-inspiring outdoors. Children will manipulate canoes & kayaks in our "mountain lake", they will pedal their mountain bikes to learn about cause and effect, and they will sample the use of ropes and pulleys many in our area use to rock climb--all the while experiencing an incredible and physical mountain experience.
